Treat Dad To Breakfast In Bed

This is Part 2 of our Father’s Day series.

I think there are a lot of Dads that would be honored to have breakfast served to them in bed on the morning of Father’s Day. So instead of going out to eat at a fancy restaurant, why not stay home to give Dad a memory he’ll never forget.

You will want to be sure you have everything you need before Father’s Day is here. You will need a tray preferably with legs on it to serve his meal on. Get a small vase with a red rose - the official Father’s Day flower. Place his flower on a crocheted doily if you have them. Also you can plan on using your best dishes/china with a fabric napkin to complete his Father’s Day breakfast tray.

What you choose for breakfast will need to be based on what Dad likes. Some ideas would be bacon, scrambled eggs, toast, fruit, orange juice, and coffee. Maybe he prefers a bagel with cream cheese, homemade muffins, or pancakes instead. Pick from the list of his favorite foods. Be sure to remember to pick everything up from the store at least one day before.

Click here to read my final post about Father’s Day. It will be here before we know it! Until then I want to ask for ideas or stories of how you treated the father in your life with breakfast. Maybe it will spark some new ideas for other moms.
