Why be thankful on Thursdays? We tend to just give thanks on Thanksgiving; why not share your blessings on a weekly basis with us? You don’t have to participate every week; do it as often as you can. The road of life is hard, let us count our blessings as we travel this road…
“Enter his gates with thanksgiving,
and his courts with praise!
Give thanks to him; bless his name”
~ Psalm 100:4 (NIV)
This week, here’s a list of what I’m thankful for:
- My wonderful husband and best friend of 15 years – we are constantly working on making our marriage better and have made a lot of progress
- Our children – we get to experience watching them grow to be independent people
- Friends and extended family – they are always there to talk to and help out where they can
- My health – no major problems that I know of and starting an exercise routine
- And last but not least – Jesus, for sacrificing his son to give us life!
What are you thankful for this week?

I am thankful for: Jesus, my family, my church family, and that God has allowed me to work from home!
What a great list Mimi! Congratulations on 15 years of marriage. In today's world, that is definitely something to be thankful for. Mike and I will hit #20 next June.
I pray that God will allow me to work from home, too.
Nikki, you'll have to share your secrets to a long-lasting marriage!
Hi Mimi,
This is a great praise list and I am so glad you decided to join in and give honor to the Lord.
I always love reading praises. I can't wait to read your post this week. See you again on Thursday. Hugs, Lynn
