Eight is Enough!

Two brothers 20081229 - 04For those following my blog, you know that I have two beautiful boys, Jeffrey (4) and Tyler (6 days).  My parents have 8 grandchildren which is a blessing.  However, all 8 are boys.  You have got to see our get togethers.  Boys can really play rough.

I remember when I told my mom that my second child was going to be a boy.  She told me that she was very happy and that all that mattered was that he was healthy.  I believe her but I know that some part inside her wishes for a granddaughter.  Having two boys is a true blessing.  Believe me when I say that I did not care one way or the other if it was a boy or girl.  There are thousands of women out there who try desperately just to have a child that they cannot have.  Who am I to be upset over the gender?

Perfect for the Busy Family

If your family is like mine meal time especially breakfast is busy and chaotic.  I have kids that want to run up under my feet the minute you mention food, and then there’s the 4 year old who wants to “help”.  Yes, help is good but only when you can control it a bit.  So, this cereal dispenser is definitely on my Christmas wish list because it gives me control over how much my 4 year old “helps” with the cereal.  At least the whole box won’t end up in the floor.

These neat little dispensers come in a single or double variety, just in case your family can’t agree on Frosted Flakes or Cheerios.  You can give them choices.  Plus, if they are old enough they can help themselves without all the mess.

So, whether it is you or someone you know who needs an extra hand at meal time then this should absolutely go on your list of things to wish for or things to buy this Christmas.
