Short Haircuts in Celebrity Styles – Trendy and Gorgeous

Are you one of those people that need to be in the know when it comes to what’s hip and happening? When it comes to celebrity hairstyles, you too can have a luxurious head of hair. Spring brings out the short and sassy styles that light up the runways and the red carpet.

One woman that lights up the big screen with her sexy look is Halle Berry. Her short hair has been seen spiked, bobbed, curly, and layered. A moisturizing styling gel will keep your spikes standing all day long. A short bobbed cut is very versatile and keeps your neck cool in the spring and summer months. A polishing serum with frizz control will keep that bob looking neat and clean no matter what the humidity.

Short curly styles are sexy. Look at Geena Davis, Cynthia Nixon (Sex and the City), or Jessica Simpson if you don’t believe me. All have sported a head full of short curls at one time or another. From loose ringlets to tight voluminous curls, all are eye-catching. No matter how you do it, top off that style with a holding spray to keep your hair looking as glamorous at the end of the evening as it did at the start.

The secret to volume in short styles is lots of layers. Layers give hair that look of fullness even with thinner hair. A styling mousse will flesh out those layers even more and make them shine. If you want to further dress up the layered look, add dramatic highlights in honey blonde or shades of red.

Some younger stars like the razor blunt cut. It is easy to care for and looks good with the minimum of curl. The tousled look is fresh and alluring. It’s perfect for a night out on the town and says that you are ready for anything.

For stars like America’s Next Top Model winner Eva Pigford, short is really short. Her close cropped locks sport smooth sexy waves that set off the color of her eyes. Draw attention to your short do with streaks of color or sparkling highlights. To make this style work, keep the nape of the neck cut and shaped neatly.

Celebrities aren’t afraid to experiment with different looks. Search those hair magazines for the style that expresses your “inner celebrity”. Take it to your stylist and watch the magic. If you want to be a true celebrity, you’ll change your hairstyle like you change your clothes. Keep a few photos on hand if you need a new style right away for a special event.

Hair does not have to be long to be gorgeous. Short hair is just as versatile as the longer version.
