Nadya Suleman, a.k.a. Octomom, just joined the likes of the “Jon and Kate Plus 8″ brood and signed a deal to have her own reality show. It’s not a huge surprise, of course, that she chose to do this as a single, jobless, mom with 14 children. It’s also not a huge surprise that a production company picked her up.
Because reality family T.V. is all the rage these days.
Apparently, the show will not be like “Jon and Kate Plus 8″ with shows airing on a continual basis, but more of a documentary-style, with only a few shows airing a year to chronicle major events in the lives of her children over the next 18 years.
I will probably tune in for the first show, just to see what type of woman would willingly put herself and her family in this situation. Is she totally insane, or is she the most loving mother on the planet?
But, I wonder…did she have a gazillion children because she truly loves, loves, LOVES kids? Or did she have a gazillion children BECAUSE reality family T.V. is all the rage these days?

I. am. sick. I don’t even want to watch any of them. I don’t want to see another person make questionable choices and be “rewarded” with notoriety and fame. I don’t want to contribute to that…
Jon & Kate started off differently, but I won’t watch it anymore either. I can’t watch families disintegrate right before my eyes. And it seems that nearly any family who allows TV cameras into their lives – in a regular way – ends up falling apart – and I don’t want to see it.
This is really sad.
I think that Naday Suleman is an unstable and any television production company who takes advantage of that ought to be ashamed of themselves.
I won’t watch Jon & Kate either. The fact that these parents don’t pull the plug immediately, to take care of their family speaks to the character of Kate who is the one who pushed for the show to go on, while Jon wanted last season to be the last.

Most reality shows get on my last nerve! Jon and Kate just doesn’t do it for me and I can’t see myself watching this new one either. Frankly, I don’t watch much tv.

Thanks for all the comments. I agree in that I don’t beleive she is a stable person. But, like I said, I will watch the first show just to see.
