“Let me rub your big toe!” This is one of many old-wives’ remedies used in getting rid of headaches. Whether or not it works has yet to be proven. If you are like most people, however, you know a headache can leave you grumpy and irritated for as long as it lasts. Well, there is some good news for headache sufferers. There are natural headache relief solutions to this on-going problem.

· Perhaps you are not aware of the fact that you may be allergic to some foods which may be a contributing factor. Think about your last headache, and what you consumed to determine if that particular food was the cause.

· Did you forego your caffeine fix in the morning? This would certainly bring on a headache, at least for the majority of us.

· Perhaps your body is filled with toxins. Drink plenty of water every day to eliminate the potential pain.

· Exercise is a great stress-reliever. Stress induces headaches, and therefore a proper exercise regimen is in order. Yoga can help maintain a calm and balanced you.

· Do you sit at your computer hour after hour without any breaks? This can cause your neck and shoulder muscles to tense up which eventually cause headaches. Take a few minutes to walk around the room; go out for some fresh air; and relax.

· Ensure you have three meals a day. When you’re hungry, a headache is sure to follow.

· Have your eyes checked at least twice a year. Wearing improper lenses can be the source of the headaches.

· Have someone give you a massage. You’d be surprised how soon you will begin to relax, and the headache will dissipate.

Headaches are, unfortunately, a fact of life. We all live in a world where everything has to be accomplished yesterday, and there doesn’t seem to be room enough to enjoy life. If you are in need of a natural headache relief, you need look no further than how you live. Improving your diet, exercise, and overall health is the only way to eliminate the pain, and often debilitating headaches which keep you from living each day to its fullest.
