I wish I had known about this site when my DD was a baby. My DD was born almost 11 weeks early so when the time came I wanted to make all of her food to be sure she continued to be as healthy as she could be. I really enjoyed making her food and it really wasn't to much extra work.

I love that site. I make all of my daughter's baby food. I can honestly say I have not spent more than $10 total for store bought baby food and she is 10 months old. I am lucky to have a family garden with my father and I am able to can or freeze a ton of foods. Thank you for the link to such a great source.

I would puree everything I ate once my son was old enough. If I made spaghetti, I would puree spaghetti. If i had Chicken and green beans, i would puree that too.
To this day he eats everything I eat and I have never had to make seperate meals.
It costs less to do it yourself, your making your dinner anyway so you mind as well just put some in a dish and puree it!
I found a book the other day that I had to tell someone about. It's a book by Dr.John E.Mayer called “Family Fit” inside it talks about fun ways to stay active where it is fun for the whole family. Not just for you, not for the kids the entire family.
It's an amazing read and you can even use it as a go to manual when you have questions.
