Tonight I tackled the kitchen that has been neglected for a few days. I had psyched myself up to do the dishes - but one glimpse into the microwave was enough to take the wind out of my sails.
I hate cleaning out the microwave.
I want the microwave to mysteriously clean itself every day - even if my son has cooked ravioli or I have heated up a Lean Pocket. Sadly, this has never happened
Sean came to my rescue by taking a break from his video gaming to tackled the inside of the microwave with a vengeance. (Woohoo! Thank you Sean!)
I was chatting with my pal Chele when I realized I should have some microwave plate covers. It’s not like I don’t know what they are - I’ve just never bought one before - so I hit the web to do some shopping.
There’s quite a few options to choose from, more than I ever realized. Here’s a simple set of five plate covers in a variety of sizes and here’s a single plate cover
that looks more sturdy.
They even make little covers for a cup of tea that even help the water heat up faster and floppy splatter screens for covering bowls and other odd shaped items.
After looking at all the options I decided to order this dome shaped microwave cover because it will work for both plates and bowls and it looks super easy to clean up.
Now to remember to use it!
