rebounderI have been sharing my great love for the bouncy workout I get on my rebounder with everyone and have been thinking about starting a ’48 Day Rebounder Challenge‘ here on the blog.

Seriously – I love my rebounder that much! I feel great. My back doesn’t hurt. I’m losing weight (also thanks to being on Weight Watchers). I think everyone needs to have a rebounder!

The challenge would will be a fun, get started sort of thing. We’ll start out bouncing five minutes a day and work up to 30 minutes, adding a few minutes each day. We’ll report how we’re feeling and encourage each other.

Sound like fun? Give me your thoughts?

How much time do you need to get a rebounder in your house? Would May 1st be good?

We are definitely going for it! You have until May first to get a rebounder if you don’t have one already.

You have lots of options:

Hmm…I’ve been wanting one of those! May just have to consider more seriously – would a jog tramp do? (they just don’t have the handlebar…)

I am clumsy so I don’t trust myself without a bar – but you don’t have to have one :)

I’m in. I need accountability. I have a big tramp in the back yard that I’ll use.

I have a trampoline too…is it okay to do this with a bad back?

Marya, I wouldn’t start anything without checking with your doctor.

Ok, you convinced me to get a Rebounder instead of being a fair weathered friend and bouncing outside on the big tramp. I snatched a NIB one from eBay and found lots of Rebounder clips on YouTube. I’m ready – let’s go!

    Hi Kelly and the gang,
I saw your post on Twitter. Count me in. This will be a fun and healthy group activity. My rebounder is leaning up against the wall next to the treadmill so, yes, I will join. I need the accountabilty as well.

  8. I’m totally in! Looking forward to it.

Already have my rebounder and one workout dvd. Looking at getting another set of rebounding dvd’s too.

I have wanted to do this for quite a while now but I don’t know what to do with it besides jump up and down!! Surely there is more to it than that. And yes I could use to lose some weight before summer officially gets here. Count me in

I think I would like to try this. Now I have to go try to find the legs for my rebounder–it probably wouldn’t be nearly as much fun to have to lay it directly on the floor!: )

I’d love to join! I’ve had my Needak for 5 years now, but haven’t used it in about a year. I need to blow the dust off of it and start jumping.

I’ve scoured Good Will in search of a Rebounder….no luck :-( I would love to join you but without a rebounder it’s kind of difficult. LOL

Well these are interesting… sounds like a fun workout! I’m pretty darn clumsy so I’d definitely want one with a bar too -lol- I’ll keep my eye out for one. I was thinking of getting a Wii Fit though… so now I’m torn because bouncing sounds like fun!

I would love a Wii and would surely enjoy using the Wii Fit – but a rebounder is a lot cheaper LOL!

This sounds like fun! Can anyone tell me which rebounder is the best one to buy? I definitely want the bar to hold on to. I want to get a sturdy one but not too expensive.
