It’s Father’s Day and you want to spend time with your Dad. You might have to learn something new but, if your father enjoys playing games, here are a few ideas.
How about a round of golf? A lot of dads love the game of golf. Check with your local golf course to check if kids can play along with the adults. If not, then maybe putt-putt would be an alternative.
Is Dad a football, baseball, or basketball fan? Take some time to toss around the pigskin, play catch or shoot some hoops. You’ll be exercising and connecting with each other.
If you’re grilling out for Father’s Day, horseshoe pitching could be the ticket for your dad. Find some horsehoes, set up the pit, and let the competition begin. Around since the second century, this game is great for exercise, recreation and sport.
Does dad play chess, checkers, or even Monopoly? If he does, then playing board games is another possibility. Ask him, he might welcome a board game and time spent with you.
Regardless of their age some dads enjoy video games. You can play great sports like tennis, golf, football, baseball and bowling. A variety of games is available for Dad’s enjoyment.
Although it’s tough to believe, Dads like to have fun just like everyone else. Take some time to find out what your Dad likes. Who knows? You may find that you enjoy it as much as he does. You may develop a new family activity to enjoy on a regular basis and spending time with Dad on Father’s Day could be your greatest gift.
