Get inspired to change your look as the fall foliage does every year. There are some fabulous trends out now
and just in time to refresh and renew for the season.
In the beauty industry the fall marks the release of new color, cutting and styling trends and it’s the time of year when there are tons of educational events and symposiums sharing the new fall fashions.
This is the time to ask your stylist what new trends they’ve learned for hair fashion. If the answer is nothing, I’d advise you to find a more fashion forward and professional stylist. Fashion and beauty evolve constantly, so should you. Remember you’re not fully dressed if your hair isn’t looking good.
Here are some great tips to guide you in upgrading your look for the season:
1) Short and tailored cuts are hot– take inspiration from Rhianna, Katie Holmes and Victoria Beckham, short is sexy.
2) Unfinished and soft are terrific styling looks that are very hot right now, check out looks worn by Charlize Theron and Renee Zellweger.
3) A new longer bob, always chic and polished. Go for a longer perimeter and layers throughout for motion. Jenny McCarthy is a perfect example.
4) Bangs, bangs and more bangs either hippie-chic with a full heavy look or longer and side swept this always adds a youthful flair to your style.
5) Extensions are hotter than ever, in a variety of lengths, colors and textures you can change your look as often as you please, and they are loads of fun.
6) Rich, subtle and smoldering overtones are hot in the color department. Dark hair can easily use a hint of cinnamon highlighting and caramel or mahogany shimmers are fabulous.
7) For a quick up do– impart a low ponytail with a soft and free flowing bang. Forget control; this season is all about soft and unstructured hair.
In conclusion, we are looking at a season of fuller hair with movement, sexy sultry colors in all levels and shorter lengths. A simple hair upgrade will make you feel and look like a star!

Great article Meri. Of course and of course as you ranked them no.1, short hair are a buzz these days. And… of course who else than the celebrities are to be blamed? Celebrity short hairstyles lessen our work to think and innovate… as ever. I am so excited because its been my long time favorite.
Yes! Great post. I am so sporting the Victoria Beckham haircut! Ladies let me tell you, it works wonders for me. Ever since I got this type of cut my hubby thought I could use some nice new earrings with the ‘do so he bought me some pretty earrings on http://www.idonowidont.com
(which, moms out there, I suggest you tell your hubby to check out this site and buy you a nice piece of jewelry there to go with your new hair do)
I looked and felt like the real Victoria Beckham. It was amazing! Thanks for the post!
