Now that school is almost out, I’m sure you’re thinking, “What am I going to do with the kids?” And if you’re like me, you don’t want to break the bank. So, I’ve been searching the web and found a few links to help you do just that.
This list of 10 inexpensive or free ways to have fun with your kids includes having a neighborhood bicycle parade as well as tips for making your own bubbles. What great ideas! I am going to have to use some of those t.v. free activities. My kids are out of school already!! Eek! My son was up bright and early at 6:30AM!! I thought the days of getting up early were gone. Not so!

My son is done on Wednesday, so I just signed us up for a bunch of mommy and me classes. I’m still stressing about what I’m going to do with him this whole summer. But, I’m going to enjoy it because it’s the last couple of months with just him, and I want to make it special.

My brothers & I used to build forts, too – and my mom would let us build some from the dining room into the living room. My middle brother was the architect extraordinaire – he had some serious fort-building talent!!! What fun that was – my girls enjoy it too – we just need to help them get it set up!!! We used to camp out in the backyard, too!!!
I’m definitely into the TV free tips – although I don’t forbid them to watch TV. I just want to monitor it more – and summer is the perfect opportunity. We plan to visit the library and join up with some reading programs, too!
