Celebrity Style for Less - Look like a Million Bucks

If you like the clothes you see the models wearing in those trendy magazines, they can be yours. You don’t have to purchase clothing from a high end designer to look like a million dollars. You can get the same celebrity style look for less if you are willing to shop around.
The look for spring is sheer and classic. Nothing says classic better than a sheer blouse. If you like bright colors, flowered prints, stripes, or neutrals there’s a sheer blouse that’s just your style.
But, where do I find these designer looks for less? Stores like Dillard’s, Macy’s, JCPenney, Target, and Wal-Mart carry cute blouses in every color and style. To make that sheer blouse stand out you must wear the right camisole top underneath. If your blouse is full of rich color, choose a neutral camisole so that the blouse gets all of the attention. Flowered tops can be set off with white, black, or flesh-toned camisoles. If the blouse is long and of a neutral or light color, dress it up with a black body top that eliminates bunching at the waist that can be seen through the blouse.
Celebrities like to accessorize to add glamour to an outfit. Keep the outfit simple and elegant. Add lacy print stockings and heels to a solid color skirt or mini to make a fashion statement. A silk scarf and short jacket add a touch of style to a sleeveless camisole top.
Whatever you wear you have to have jewelry. Gold and silver are fine but jewelry in bold colors and shapes are eye-catching. New York and Company offers necklaces and earrings to accentuate any outfit you create.
For shoes, try Nine West. They don’t have to be Prada to put a smile on your face. JCPenney offers an entire stock of fashion sandals to give your outfit that casual finish.
If your budget is tight, try T.J. Maxx or Ross Department stores. You have to look and mix and match pieces until you find the look that says “celebrity style”. Have a long shirt that needs a celebrity makeover? Add a wide belt or a multicolored sash.
The average American woman is a size twelve to fourteen. For those of us with more supple curves, try Dressbarn or Lane Bryant. Plus sized clothing does not have to look like a burlap sack. Sheer blouses, stylish jeans, and little black dresses come in sizes to fit every woman.
Celebrity style should be comfortable and give confidence to the wearer. When we look good, we feel good on the inside. Turn your wardrobe into one that any celebrity would be proud to own with a few great finds and dazzling accessories.
