And thanks for your tips, too!  Getting kids involved in helping in the kitchen definitely gets them more interested in trying new things.  Even with my 2-year-old, it helps.</description>

		<description>Thank you so much for having Dr. Daisy on your website.  She is a wonderful &quot;mom&quot; mentor and has great advice.
I especially appreciated her mentioning the importance of keeping fresh fruits &amp; vegetables &amp; snacks available in your home.   This is such an important point.
Remember as well, that if you have these available at all times it will keep your kids from wanting sugary snacks or foods &amp; helps them have a healthier diet.
Having your family involved in the dinner preparation is also a great way to have &quot;family time&quot; and keep your family closer.
