This is an invitation from Mom’s Talk Network owner Kelly McCausey…
Give me 10 hours a week for 24 weeks and I’ll give you a content creation education you can use to grow your own successful online business.
The Spring/Summer Internship is underway.
I’ve been running this blog internship for over six years. It’s one of the most rewarding (and time consuming) activities I take on. I can only work with a small group so I have to be choosey about the bloggers I accept.
Applications are now closed.
The next group will start in September.

What stood out for me was the excellent feedback you gave me to help me become a better writer and solopreneur in the making. You gave my first drafts an eagle eye, seeing things I could improve on that I didn’t think of. Having acces to some of your products and to the forum has also been a huge blessing.
I’m excited to take writing skills I learned here to the blog I’m building out. I know I’ll pay attention to the little details better. I’m also excited to take tips and suggestions from the smart solopreneurs in the forum and put them to use.
For anyone considering working under Kelly as her intern – hold on to your hat! She’ll push you to better yourself in ways that will astonish you. You’ll be exposed to a truly gifted woman who not only knows the business well, she’s also a genuinely caring person who wants you to succeed.
Thank you for taking me under your wing and gifting me with this opportunity. My fellow interns will be friends for life!
Rachel Williams Pilgrim:
I loved the hands on part of the internship: tweeting, blogging, and applying the feedback to make everything better as we went along. I loved the Smart Blogging Skills course materials, and how straightforward and step-by-step they made learning how to have an effective and profitable blog.
I’ve had the last 15 weeks to think about my websites, my business, my passions, and where I need to move them all to be profitable. I think I’m most excited about creating my own information products to sell, and using my blog to generate interest and grow a mailing list. I’ve also made the decision to focus on monetizing my two existing sites first, rather than my new blog, because we have such a large base already with those two. It seems almost a “no-brainer” and I can’t believe it took me so long to realize.
Finally – to prospective interns I would say to use every opportunity in this internship to learn and to apply the learning to your own blog. Follow the course materials and throw yourself into it, and at the end you will have more readers, and a better direction for your business.
Finally I just wanted to say THANK YOU! to Kelly McCausey for her support and for this fantastic opportunity! Thank you thank you thank you!

Reynolds For me the entire thing was a learning experience. Answers to questions I had since the beginning were answered and I learned so much about myself, my writing and what direction I really want to go with my blog.
I really appreciated all of the constructive feedback and all of the tips and hints along the way. Kelly you are a true and wonderful mentor. Thank you so much.
Amanda Hepola-Gomez:
This has been a great learning opportunity! The hands-on experience with feedback and access to the Smart Blogging Skills was immensely helpful. I learned answers to technical questions I didn’t know I had. I loved hearing the experiences of solopreneurs that are running successful online businesses. I am excited to put my new info to work for me on my blog, persistence will pay off.
To prospective interns, take advantage of this experience with Kelly! The honest feedback and access to learning materials and products are beneficial in learning to develop your own site.
Thank you Kelly! Your success is an inspiration!
Samantha Angel:
One of the things that stood out for me is how much you need to interact with others – commenting on other similar blogs and social media. I just never realized how this could impact my blog so much. I’ve gotten more traffic from blogs I’ve commented on than any other way so far. Yeah!
The one on one time you spent critiquing our work has helped tremendously. I love your no nonsense approach to it. I don’t have time to have someone pussy foot around offering fluff and compliments to keep me happy (unless of course its great
). I want someone to tell me straight up what I can do to improve. You, Kelly McCausey, provide that in spades! I can’t tell you enough how much I love that approach. You give us what we need to succeed and put it in our court to do so.
I’m most excited about applying more affiliate marketing. And I want to continue with the blog commenting and keeping up with social media (which sometimes is a job all by itself).
I would say to new interns: Immerse yourself in this course. Don’t let your ego get in the way and drink in everything Kelly has to offer. Let the critiques guide you to be the best you can be.
Thank you Kelly McCausey!
