Only thirteen days to go.
I’ve been having a hard couple of days. I totally lost it last night and ate two hot dogs and a sandwich in about an hours time. It was compulsive eating at its worst.
I’m glad I only have low fat food in the house so the damage isn’t huge – but I’m still really disappointed in myself. I hate confessing to to you but I’m determined to keep it real here.
Sean and I had Chinese food for lunch. I didn’t overeat but it wasn’t Weight Watchers friendly either.
This is typical of my diet pattern. After about a month I start to lose steam and get really tired of eating right. I don’t want to backtrack and put on any of the pounds that I’ve lost!
I’ve decided to switch things up and go l0-carb for the remainder of this 48 Day challenge. I have mixed feelings about it. I know the right thing to do is to make a lifetime commitment to a low fat menu but I’m also determined to lose as much weight as I can in this 48 Days – so I’d rather go for the change up and keep the momentum going. After my Girls Weekend I’ll decide them about going back on Weight Watchers or further pursuing lo-carb.
Do you think there’s any big problem with switching back and forth every few weeks? Would love to know what you think.
I haven’t lost my enjoyment for exercise, that’s a relief.
Why Do I Want to Be a Better Me?
I don’t want to be the woman who fails again and again at weight loss. I’m tired of being that woman!


I’ve never been on the Weight Watchers diet so I wouldn’t know if going back and forth really hurts. But if you decide to go low carb, then you are still controlling what you eat and I’m guessing that it’s the whole point of Weight Watchers.
Don’t give up. It’s normal to get bored after one month. Just don’t come down too hard on yourself or you will start losing motivation.
13 days left….. You can do it. Believe me, you’re doing better than I am.

I have heard of a lot of people having success if they have one “cheat meal” a week. Apparently, it makes staying on the healthy food much more manageable if you know you can have whatever you want (including dessert) once a week. Maybe that will allow you not get bored and instead you can relish in your one ooey-gooey good meal once a week while still losing weight. You will look fab for your girls weekend – you are already a success
