Better Me: Day Nine

better-me-125I’m cruising happily into week two of 48 Days to a Better Me.  I’m feeling great, still highly motivated and really enthusiastic about taking these steps towards a healthier Kelly.

Weight Watchers has been going well.  The scale is being most kind.  I’m not struggling with cravings and haven’t been tempted to cheat.

I took the weekend off from exercising and I’m torn about that.  I worked hard on Friday and my legs were really hurting.  I took that as a sign that I should rest them up.  I think that was the right thing to do – but I’d love a professional opinion on that.

I’ll be jumping back on the rebounder as soon as I finish this post.  I’m actually looking forward to it.

I’ve been caffeine free and I don’t miss that.  I’m amazed at how awake, alert and focused I feel without it.

I’m two days behind on my 90 Day Bible Reading Schedule :(   (Already!)  Man, it’s so easy to forget about something when it’s not our habit.   Don’t worry though – I’ll read two days worth today and get caught up.

The one area I haven’t tackled yet is budgeting.  I’m going to my calendar right now to set aside a chunk of time for that.

Why I want to be a Better Me

I want the self confidence that comes from setting a goal and seeing it through!

I’m not a professional, but I do know you should give your body rest every week. Having said that, it’s good to be sore and if you still want to workout just work on a different part of your body.
