Best Play Dough Recipe Ever!

I used to make this all the time when my sons were little.  Using Kool Aid or another similar drink mix gives you great colors and it smells like whatever flavor you use.

Hey Koolaid Playdough

Justified True Belief

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 package unsweetened Kool-Aid
  • 1/4 cup salt
  • 2 tablespoons cream of tartar
  • 1 cup water

Instructions:

  • Mix flour, salt, cream of tartar and Kool-Aid in a medium saucepan.
  • Add water and oil. Stir over medium heat 3 to 5 minutes.
  • When mixture forms a ball in pan, remove. Knead until smooth.

Store in  a plastic bag or tub and once it cools, take some time to play with your little ones!

    Perfect. We put the playdough away since Devin still eats it. We’ll definitely try your recipe. It looks fun to make. Excuse my ignorance…but what is cream of tartar? Where would you find it in the grocery store. =)
