7 Traveling Mom Love Links

The Sun Sets on Château de ChillonThis week, in honor of Spring Break and great travel plans,  I looked at mom blogs that discuss traveling or living overseas.  When I was 9,  we moved overseas, then back to the U.S., then lived in several different states, before making one more move overseas again.  The planet is so big,  let’s all go explore it!

This mom is planning five trips abroad with families to help them study Ancient Rome.  She includes a link to Google Earth’s Ancient Rome maps, which is fascinating reading on its own.  I volunteer to go on one of the trips!

An Irish blogger who lives in Seattle and travels with two kids in tow to fabulous places.  In this post, she recommends renting a vacation rental property in Mexico (or in other exotic locations) as a family-friendly alternative to hotels.  She also has 23 blog posts related to Europe.

Mom traveling with a 4, 9, and 12 year old and a husband.    Yes, they were jetlagged and got the flu, but they also have great photos of Provence, old castles, arched bridges,  Avignon,  and ancient ruins.  And some worthy travel advice for families.

An American mom now living in Spain with her husband and three bilingual sons.  Spain?!!  I love Spain.  I want to go to Barcelona.

An American mom married to a German, mother of three, and homeschooling the kids in two different languages.  Can you imagine trying to homeschool in two different languages?

A Canadian mom married to a German, with two bilingual teens, on her way to Denmark.

A New Zealander married to a Belgian, who is an exquisite photographer.  Just check  out her photos.  She has magnificent photographs and a caring concern for the world.  I volunteer to carry her photo equipment around on the next world foray.
