48 Days to a Better Me Wrap Up

better-me-125I was so busy getting ready to head out to my Girls Weekend that I never posted my Day 48 update – so here I am with a quick report :)

I lost a total of 21 pounds. (Didn’t manage to eek out even one more pound in the last five days.)  I really slacked off on exercise during the last week or so or I’m sure I would have lost a few more.

I feel really proud of what I achieved in seven weeks – but to be honest, I’m also a bit disappointed in myself because I believe that I could have done better.  I feel a tremendous mixture of accomplishment and frustration.  I think I expected too much from one short period of time – but I’m not going to beat myself up.  21 pounds is nothing to sneeze at and the energy and renewed strength I feel is something to celebrate!

What now?

I am in the process of setting some new goals and will be launching a second edition of 48 Days to a Better Me soon.  (And will certainly be inviting you all to join me!)
